FAQ
Can all colors be removed?
Black is the easiest color to take out. Other colors may require longer treatments and more sessions to take out. Unfortunately, there are some colors that may be impossible to take out. Some colors that generally cannot be removed are shades of green, yellow, pink, purple, and white.
Is it possible to have just one session?
All treatment plans require more than one session. The number of sessions that are required will depend on treatment factors such as the age of the tattoo, the color and type of ink used.
How far apart should my treatment sessions be?
We normally recommend a six-week interval between treatments. This is because your body needs time to rid itself of the ink that the laser breaks down during the session.
Are there certain activities I can not do before and after treatment?
Before your session, do not take medications that contain ibuprofen such as Motrin. There are really no restrictions after treatment. You just have to make sure that you do not rub or scratch the area being treated and that if you are exposed to sunlight, that the treatment area is properly covered.
Will there be a scar after?
Scarring is commonly not a problem for most patients. However, it differs from patient to patient. If you are susceptible to keloids, then you have a higher risk of scarring. Diligence in following the instructions given to you after treatments will help reduce and risk of scarring.
What’s a laser tattoo removal treatment like?
Laser tattoo removal has been said to be similar like a rubber band hitting the skin however we offer anesthetic cream and ice to minimize any discomfort. However our philosophy is if you can get a tattoo you can definitely have it removed since the session usually take seconds to only a few minutes.
Are there after effects?
Typically our patients may experience minor bleeding, blistering, redness or swelling; however we will educate you on healing the treatment area for optimal healing. After treatment you may experience the treatment area to flake, scab & peel. You should avoid exposing your treatment area to sun light and public waters. Please refer other questions to your medical provider.

How do I cancel appointments?
To cancel appointments, give us a call at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment and we will help you reschedule for another date or time.
